chiborg: I've recently just unzipped the pywikibot core on a windows machine but i'm having some sort of issues getting to install it, when trying to generate user configuration file with this command ''python pwb.py generate_user_files'', I keep getting this error message ''python: can't open file 'pwb.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory'', please what am I possibly doing wrong.

ankry: It seems the only chance you have is to make sure your code is executed later, somehow. Utilizing one of the hooks MediaWiki provides in JavaScript might be helpful.
