[00:12:50] Reedy: yeah. that predates mediawiki/vendor and probably can't be easily integrated there. Another special snowflake like wikidata and SMW [00:13:05] It's got a few issues [00:13:14] I don't think they need their own copies of monolog etc committed in it either [00:15:01] That's probably true. I think somebody on the donations team was thinking about that at some point but it probably didn't make it into their pre-freeze deadlines [00:15:37] I guess those could go into require-dev [00:15:50] I fell into the rabbit hole trying to keep things in sync [00:16:02] But then they deploy master donationinterface with their REL1_25 branch.... [00:17:41] I was randomly thinking about monolithic repos the other day and how many things would be easier to deal with if it was ll on a giant pile. [00:17:59] but then I quickly realized that a lot of things would be horrible too [00:18:00] [00:16:45] We also use this extension as a library under Drupal, though... [00:18:16] I.... ok [00:18:27] [00:17:09] Turtles :D [00:18:27] [00:17:31] hehe, yeah we dig pretty deep holes here [00:18:35] maybe the library part should actually be a library? [00:19:31] I guess it's something to discuss with them after the fundraiser in the new year [00:19:34] tidying it all up [00:50:37] lots of random unrelated test failures [18:57:01] MediaWiki 1.26 stable crashes during web installation procedure. Is it right place to ask such kind of questions? [19:01:54] Here what I got when was installin mediawiki http://www.paste.org/80542 [19:15:54] Nirvanchik: to me, that looks as if your server was misconfigured [19:16:40] that file, that the error message mentions, should normally be accessible. [19:18:20] hello. Yes, I got the same idea after some googling the issue. But the server is configured by hosting company, I don't have access to that, so... investigating now what else to do. [19:45:33] Nirvanchik: are you updating an existing installation or installing from scratch? [19:50:00] installing from scratch. I changed PHP to 5.3 in the hosting settings and restarted installation and looks like it continued and didn't crashed. And I created an issue to hosting company and described the problem. May be this is their configuration fault. [19:50:23] *didn't crash, haven't crashed [20:20:54] Thanks guys for this good product!
