To add to what @Void said, my understanding, in speaking with several sysadmins/Global Sysops and/or stewards, is that we do allow wikis covering the same topic, but we generally do not permit wikis that are near duplicate content forks. There is an exception to that, though, which Void, talked about, whereby a steward, will try and mediate the dispute and have the duplicate or substantially duplicate wiki [23:19:09] remediate its content in a different way or take a different tact/approach. We do have lots of wikis covering the same topic, though...thinking English Wikipedia forks we have, Roblox game wikis, Minecraft wikis, and similar.
