[09:43:52] <nikki>	 if someone adds an interwiki link on wikipedia, it will create a new item (which is not quite manual or bot, the user doesn't necessarily know or care that an item is being created)
[09:46:24] <nikki>	 there's one user likes to mass-create items for wikipedia articles without items from time to time, but that tends to annoy people because it floods wikidata with items that are empty other than the one sitelink
