I'd like to check something on beta labs that I would normally use Special:Version. I'm not sure how though. [13:36:19] chrismcmahon: hi [13:36:25] chrismcmahon: what you want to check ? [13:36:37] beta was broken earlier, I had to manually update a bunch of extensions [13:37:53] hashar: you might know about this: we recently moved Vector functions into core. As I understand it, the Vector skin as such should no longer exist. Since we're getting unusual behavior from the left-side expand/collapse navigation on beta labs, I want to check that Vector has been removed or whatever is supposed to happen with it. [13:38:57] hashar: this is the bug: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54886 [13:39:43] can't really look at that huge bug report rightnow [13:39:55] if vector has to be disabled, it should be done in operations/mediawiki-config.git [13:40:20] hashar: no problem. It boils down to the expand/collapse on beta labs is wonky, and I'm not sure why. [13:40:28] ok, I'll check that [13:40:44] chrismcmahon: I guess beta still has Vector [13:40:53] and thus it has the modules from core AND vector enabled [13:40:56] which might be the issue [13:40:57] although that should reflect production, I wouldn't think we would override settings for Vector [13:41:17] hashar: yeah, that was Jon Robson's suggestion [13:41:27] which I'm trying to check. or fix. [13:41:55] I'll look at mediawiki-config, thanks [13:42:42] chrismcmahon: make sure to ping Sam Reed about it [13:42:53] might happen in prod next deployment [14:09:08] I am out [14:09:09] sorry chris :D [14:11:05] (PS1) Hashar: mediawiki-release [integration/jenkins-job-builder-config] - https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/89215 [15:43:36] (PS1) Zfilipin: Documented Jenkins jobs for Flow [qa/browsertests] - https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/89228
