[17:50:37] I'm back [18:05:36] halfak have I ever told you how much I appreciate your clear and efficient communication style? Well, I do. Especially on days when my inbox is way, way too full. [18:11:31] :) <3 J-Mo [18:12:04] #wsor4life [18:25:44] welcome bmansurov! [18:25:50] :) [18:25:58] halfak: hello and thanks [18:36:19] yuss [18:42:32] so what are we doign? [18:42:34] *doing [18:43:37] hey bmansurov. welcome to the channel! :-) I'm going through my emails and will get back to your soon. [18:51:19] Ironholds, I'm still catching up on email. [18:51:28] Aggressively trimming my personal backlog. [18:51:36] kk [18:51:38] no meetings? [18:51:52] I'm sort of assuming meetings until told otherwise. I want to do WORK this week ;p [18:52:44] I've been hacking on python streaming in Hadoop between emails. [19:01:16] leila: thanks ;) [19:05:11] bmansurov: we're heading to the kitchen [19:05:13] meet us there [19:05:37] leila: ok ;) [19:20:02] halfak, can I run an idea past you very briefly? [19:21:01] quick pitch: we use MaxMind databases for every kind of geolocation we do, and while they're building in IPv6 support it's still very new. If they're interested, what would you think of us giving them a randomised sample of IPv6 IPs from the reader logs or something? They get to prioritise blocks, we get more accurate/consistent geolocation. [19:21:14] Not looking for a full plan, just an instinctive "doing that would give me the heeby jeebies" [20:05:06] Ironholds, will consider. [20:05:52] halfak, cool!
