[04:01:21] Hi. [[Special:Book]] on Spanish Wikipedia does not work. It gets to be activated, but we can't see the buttons to add or remove pages to the book. Where can we check what the problem is? [13:08:43] no [13:17:29] Nemo_bis: but this is a bug i guess? [13:23:52] maybe [13:23:56] there is a report [13:40:30] Ryan_Lane: Can I PM you? [16:04:38] manybubbles: hey :) hangout? [17:41:46] How come when I search for an article in the search bar, and there's a redirect from what I searched to another page, it doesn't automatically load that page? [18:03:22] Is anyone here to help me? [18:08:44] Mordil: Can you link to an example/ [18:08:45] ? [18:09:28] Mordil: e.g. when I search for "Testing" on mediawiki.org I get successfully redirected to Project:Sandbox [18:10:09] I'm typing in a part number on my company's intranet wiki (we have our own Wiki platform). When I do it on my computer, it automatically redirects to the proper page. When a co-worker does it, it says there's no page [18:10:37] it's not case sensitive. If I type in "75016-s", it'll still load 75016-S (which is a redirect to 75016P). But when my co-worker types 75016-s the Wiki says there's no page [18:10:47] When they type 75016-S it shows a list of articles related to the search (only the 1 result - the actual page) and doesn't load it without her clicking on it. Then when she does, it goes to the page saying to click on the redirect link. [18:22:29] Weird. [18:22:39] Mordil: Are you two using different browsers or operating systems? [18:23:17] No, we are both using Win7 & IE8 [18:23:54] I previously thought it might had been a "only logged in" feature, but once we got them logged it - same issues happened [20:45:24] https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Architecture_meetings/RFC_review_2014-03-12 in about 15 min in #wikimedia-office [21:21:52] greg-g, I have a as yet unprepared patch for centralnotice that I'd like to deploy today (it's either that or I'm going to revert back to early last week) [21:21:57] can I get part of the LD?
