[13:16:15] 10Traffic, 10Operations: Backport iproute2 4.x from debian testing -> our jessie - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T138591#3853953 (10MoritzMuehlenhoff) a:05MoritzMuehlenhoff>03None I think at this point a backport doesn't make much sense, the time is better spend on migration the respective systems to... [19:44:07] bblack: So I'm finishing up the memtests on cp4032 and the new dimm is passing so far [19:44:21] when i bring it back online, what do I need to do to return it to service? [19:44:38] (since it was depooled i assume its cached items are stale/expired and it has to warm up?) [19:45:30] i know i can just toss it back to traffic, but if it is something I can handle I'd like to know =] [19:48:25] 10Traffic, 10Operations, 10ops-ulsfo: cp4032 memory error - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T183176#3855238 (10RobH) I've put in the new memory dimm and run memory tests, which are still running (and will take awhile.) [20:04:25] robh: better to just leave it depooled and assign back to us probably and we'll poke at it [20:05:45] TODO: make pooling not work if all the right things are not in sane states, but that's already in the phab backlog somewhere I think :) [20:50:18] 10Traffic, 10Analytics-Cluster, 10Analytics-Kanban, 10Operations, 10User-Elukey: TLS security review of the Kafka stack - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T182993#3855423 (10Ottomata) > we want to force clients to use TLSv2 Did you mean TLSv1.2? > Does ssl.cipher.suites imply a specific version of T... [21:41:57] bblack: ok, i was hoping it was something i could take off your plate but guess not ;] [21:42:12] ill check the ram test shortly and itll likely be reassigned back to you in a bit [21:57:15] 10Traffic, 10Operations, 10ops-ulsfo: cp4032 memory error - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T183176#3855577 (10RobH) a:05RobH>03BBlack Ok, this is ready to go back online. new memory tested fine.
