[01:15:20] https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/9874/ [01:17:24] eh? 404 [01:49:19] Amgine|Berlin: errr... remove trailing slash [01:49:31] sorry [01:50:30] also see http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/2012-June/060915.html ;) [01:53:13] heh. Like I have any ability to review those! [01:53:22] Amgine|Berlin: why not? [01:53:40] i'm looking for +2 but most anyone should be able to +1 [01:53:47] (note numbers mean nothing) [01:53:56] Yah, but first I have to understand what I'm reading. [01:54:10] ahhh ;P [01:54:32] anyway, the *real* goal is merge+deploy. but i'll take some +1 [01:55:03] (or -1 even. *something*!) [01:57:52] I should mention that it took just over 1.5 years to get the first semi-real review of an extension I wrote in response to a bug. (Cirwin's extension has been requested on 6 wikis for 4 years, and was recently reviewed once. He left the projects 2.5 years ago.) [02:02:02] git should be fixing some of this. gerrit helps a little and hurts a little [02:05:17] Well, the impression I'm getting is it hurts not-wikipedia. [02:11:12] jeremyb, are you in Berlin? [02:12:18] harej: brooklyn [02:12:24] damn. 0411. I should consider sleeping. [02:12:27] I guess that's a no. [02:12:29] idk why Amgine|Berlin's awake [02:12:49] Amgine|Berlin: what hurts? [02:14:04] Mmm, writing phpunit tests for a class I'm pulling out my ass. [02:14:17] To do something the wrong way. [09:22:54] * jeremyb waves moin [09:30:06] 'lo [13:11:31] I just read the part of "How can I get involved?" in the FAQ and I was wondering if there was anything that I could help with. [13:24:09] Lydia_WMDE: aude: ^ [13:24:53] hi Myr [13:25:00] Hi [13:26:28] Myr: we need people to try our demos [13:26:43] feedback on http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikidata/Notes/Inclusion_syntax [13:27:24] @commands [13:27:24] Commands: channellist, trusted, trustadd, trustdel, info, infobot-link, infobot-share-trust+, infobot-share-trust-, infobot-share-off, infobot-share-on, infobot-off, refresh, infobot-on, drop, whoami, add, reload, suppress-off, suppress-on, help, RC-, recentchanges-on, language, recentchanges-off, logon, logoff, recentchanges-, recentchanges+, RC+ [13:27:34] @info [13:27:34] http://bots.wmflabs.org/~wm-bot/dump/%23wikimedia-wikidata.htm [13:28:04] @info logs [13:28:07] code review, if you're into that [13:28:10] Myr: ^ [13:28:25] http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikidata-l/2012-May/000479.html - demo [14:34:14] JeroenDeDauw: done [14:34:20] use the power wisely ;-) [14:34:36] * Lydia_WMDE is on a train on the way home from admincon [14:34:43] home again soon \o/ [14:44:44] Lydia_WMDE: coming into the office tomorrow? [16:16:53] aude: nope - taking tomorrow and the day after off mostly and meeting with an old friend who's visiting from the US to give a keynote at berlin buzzwords [16:17:17] and i need some alone-time after the summit and admin con [16:17:23] <- all out of social [16:17:33] and back at home now \o/ [16:17:56] * guillom is sympathetic to the need-time-alone thing. [16:19:26] guillom: ;-) [16:20:27] Lydia_WMDE: have you read this book? http://www.amazon.de/Quiet-Power-Introverts-World-Talking/dp/0307352145/ [16:20:48] guillom: no only watched her ted talk [16:21:26] ok; I'm about 2/3 done with the book. If you have a Kindle, I can lend it to you once I finish it :) [16:21:38] (Or Kindle app) [16:22:23] i have a kindle app on my phone [16:22:27] pondering buying a kindle currently [16:22:59] I read our Kindle books with the android app on the phone or the tablet. [16:23:44] yeah me too currently but i think it'd be nicer to have a bigger screen [16:23:55] but not entirely sure it is worth the money [16:25:59] I think if you read a lot before going to bed it can be a nice investment. The phone or tablet screens send light to your eyes and therefore keep you awake; the kindle uses eInk, which is supposed to be closer to paper books, and you can fall asleep more easily. [16:26:13] yeah [16:26:27] right now i usually read on the train to work [16:26:35] but i'd like to read more at night again [16:26:47] (I have a backlog of paper books to read, so I read Kindle books during the day / travel, and paper books before going to bed) [16:26:55] heheh [16:27:03] yeah i have a backlog too [16:27:11] not sure i'll ever get to reading them all [16:27:15] probably not ;-) [16:27:16] heh =) [19:22:32] . [19:22:38] Lydia_WMDE: woho, thnx [19:22:43] Lydia_WMDE: I got the command right? :p [19:23:16] aude: you coming to the office tomorrow? :0 [19:23:17] JeroenDeDauw: heh it seems so [19:41:04] I might be calling in tomorrow..
