[04:38:28] Hi! I just initiated a user centered evaluation of the successes or failures of the Wikidata Vue UI. The goal is to evaluate whether the design decisions of Wikidata has generated the targeted user satisfaction. I hope that this evaluation can be fruitful input to discussions about the UI design of Wikifunctions. [04:38:28] In my study of informatics (I study systems engineering with a usability focus at MIUN) it's clear that early design decisions can be very costly to change later during the evolution of an IT-system. It is therefore my suggestion to *first* evaluate the Wikidata UI and then take decisions for the UI of Wikifunctions. [04:38:29] See https://t.me/c/1224298920/45156 [04:38:36] Are the team at Wikifunctions using Phabricator? Is there a workboard somewhere? Who is taking decisions about the UI of Wikifunctions? How can I get involved? [06:15:43] Is there a project plan for the project somewhere? Is there a document with requirements similar to https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikidata/Notes/Requirements ? [14:59:28] The main project page for Wikifunctions (and Abstract Wikipedia generally) is at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Abstract_Wikipedia [15:00:18] Note the "Develop" section which indicates the mediawiki extension being worked on, and links to the "Abstract Wikipedia" workboard in phabricator.
