[14:26:34] [telegram] This should especially interest people who develop modules and templates of any kind, particularly on Commons, Wikidata, and other multilingual sites, but really on any wiki. (re @amire80: While I'm here, I should probably send a different kind of spam, and invite interest MediaWiki developers to this: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Meta_talk:Babylon#Language_showcase_about_module_translation) [15:54:23] [telegram] Why? People spam at IRC too, though I guess it is harder there as freenode bans some IP ranges and stuff (re @djhartman: At some point we might have to adapt the bridge bot to check user profiles for registration age and maybe require some activity, before forwarding to IRC or something.) [17:08:53] Using something like https://missrose.org/ on the Telegram side might not be a horrible idea. [17:10:01] so far I have seen much less telegram spam than irc spam in general, but I don't use nearly as many public telegram channels as public Freenode channels
