I think that could explain the “cannot access the database” error, if $wgWBClientSettings['repoDatabase'] is set to some database (perhaps the default) that doesn’t exist

Trying to install Wikibase Client Extension onto http://develop.consumerium.org/wiki/Main_Page I get "cannot connect to database" in the wiki.
