[19:50:43] 1. Do I have to upload a file to set it as logo, or can I use a file in /var/lib/mediawiki/ ? [19:53:23] Saranin: the file should be served from the web server to the internet. If /var/lib/mediawiki/ is not accessible from the internet, you should find another location. Uploading it like a normal image from the wiki has the advantage you can update it directly from the wiki interface and maintain an history of versions [19:54:51] 2. Everytime I try to set $wgLogo, it adds "/wiki" to the front. So I try to set it to the uploaded location, but then the $wgLogo location ends up wrong because it's not at "wiki/.../logo.png" [20:09:18] aww I missed music hour :-P [21:08:15] So the issue I was seeing with a template inside an infobox really was because of || inside of a table. Is there a name for this? Also, what does happen to this when the table is parsed, how does it work if || is inside an image inclusion expression? is it replaced with blank space of some sort?
