The additional ongoing work other than the occasional meeting or discussion is where board intersects with running the thing, e.g. officer roles like Tech, T&S, Pres & secretary. [20:52:42] That makes a lot of sense. The President of our HOA doesn't do much work other than approve what the other roles do (budget - Treasurer, minutes - Secretary, policy review - the rest of us after votes are tallied). I know MH board is a step beyond that, but it seems similar in scope. [21:02:24] [1/2] Not a bad way to frame it, though we aim to be a lot less intrusive/pains in the butt vs the usual HOA reputation. [21:02:25] [2/2] Really, most of our board is/was seated primarily because they are already volunteers that have done a lot to move the project forward, but that doesn't make them the sole source of new good ideas/drivers. [21:03:20] Our most recent program for volunteer conference attendance was created largely because someone in the tech team asked about possibly getting reimbursed.
