[17:34:20] <Krinkle>	 interesting, so it seems to not be so much an ID for an exact document but for a (hoster,document)  pair, as it seems each prefix is tied to a specific/preferred website, in this case it seems this paper is tied to ACM.
[17:34:59] <Krinkle>	 I wonder if that means the same paper will have many different DOIs for different access portals, or whether there is some other contract that decides the canonical access portal for a given paper.
