Now if only my macOS commands bug could be solved. It’s a tricky one, I read some code online and everyone seems to do commands differently [11:15:14] GitHub [7huggle/huggle3-qt-lx] benapetr pushed 1 commits into branch master: https://github.com/huggle/huggle3-qt-lx/compare/d87aedc1b622...30821fbb6383 [11:15:14] GitHub [7huggle/huggle3-qt-lx] commit by benapetr (Petr Bena) https://github.com/huggle/huggle3-qt-lx/commit/30821fbb638342a51489ff66149e22ed2a52c57f JS: time fcs [11:15:39] Dane: well, I was hoping since I got a Mac now that most of these bugs should get quickly fixed [11:15:45] but I just don't suffer from this [11:15:51] all shortcuts work fine to me [11:16:05] there was a problem with "multiple key strokes per hit" but that I fixed in code [11:18:39] Hmm. So like if you go into the Huggle preferences panel on your Mac and try to modify a shortcuts key command, it actually sets it to something else for you and works? [11:21:13] 10Huggle: Huggle bringing up old edits with "go to next edit" - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T196216#4250318 (10Petrb) Ah yes, that's a new feature that is enabled by default. When you revert someone and they have some top revision edits in their history, huggle will download them and add them to queue, eve... [11:21:44] Dane: yep [11:21:55] which commands don't work for you? [11:22:09] I use shortcuts all time [11:23:37] petan: all of the default commands work (r for revert/no warn, q for revert as generic vandalism warning). But like, specifically I was trying to add custom commands for each of the different Warning types. If I click the box in preferences and press a key command, nothing sets. If I try to type it in manually, nothing sets. [11:24:21] The box just remains blank as if I did nothing. [11:24:53] you need to double click the shortcut, then edit box should appear allowing you to write in there. You can't just press a shortcut, you actually have to write the shortcut there :/ like write actual text "ctrl + x" for example [11:25:20] I couldn't find any documentation in Qt that would allow me to grab the shortcut from user input [11:25:28] so that's why it works like that [11:26:04] btw on Mac "ctrl" will be mapped to cmd key [11:26:09] that's another Qt feature [11:26:17] * Dane tries this again. [11:26:23] despite my mac has ctrl key as well [11:26:26] I tried doing that in the past and had no success [11:26:39] But I’m gonna give it a go now that you’re logged on and telling me so I can see lol [11:27:33] actually, there might be a bug when I check it that you need to navigate to next edit for shortcuts to really change [11:27:44] I probably forget to refresh the shortcuts when preferences are closed [11:28:11] but it works to me [11:28:28] I change the shortcut in preferences, go to next edit and even in menus I can see new ones [11:35:08] hmmm [11:35:15] Sooo [11:35:28] I think it's the commands i'm choosing must be not ok [11:36:18] Because I just did Ctrl + G (Cmd+G) and it worked (minus the (bug?) where it kept asking if I wanted to revert the next edit AGF too) [11:36:29] And that I set on my own. [11:39:57] petan: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:147.158.173.210&diff=844070435&oldid=844061091 [11:40:31] I set that to Shift+U for Item 19 (unsourced). Correct warning appeared on the users talk page but it did not revert the edit. [12:00:25] ugh that's weird, sounds almost like if shortcut was set to warnings only [12:00:34] huggle never sends warnings if revert didn't work [12:02:43] yeah, it's strange [16:06:31] 10Huggle: YAML error when parsing automatically saved config - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T195987#4250768 (10ToBeFree) 05Open>03Resolved a:03ToBeFree Thank you very much :) Additional note: "insert-edits-of-rolled-user-to-queue" is a wonderful feature.
