Having to click on the little arrow next to the button is a bit tedious, and it's not that often that I want to use the default revert and warn message. [19:15:33] Also, I typically like to AGF with my reverts but still give the user a warning. Is that possible? Sorry if I didn't explain that well. [19:23:06] perryprog: hi [19:23:24] o/ [19:23:39] you can make a shortcut for these popup options [19:23:46] preferences -> shortcuts [19:23:59] so you can assign that X is for example revert and warn as test edit [19:24:37] you just need to use the same number of item as you can see in drop down [19:25:02] I saw that, but I was hoping there was a more generic one that would allow me to use just one key to revert and warn, but still with the option to pick a reason (e.g. unexplained deletion) [19:25:43] I was imagining for example that I could hit Q and it would do the equivalent of opening that drop down next to the revert and warn button [19:26:25] I don't think that is possible at this moment [19:26:48] Oh that's a bummer. [19:27:30] Alright, and for my other question: is it possible to both assume good faith and still put a warning on the user's talk page? [19:27:59] I see that Y will revert the users change with a good faith revert message but it doesn't have any option to submit a warning [19:28:30] perryprog: I sometimes do this either using Twinkle, or using Huggle; to use Huggle for it, you may need to go "back" to the edit, select the user's edit instead of your own revert, select their contribution from the user's contribution list and click the "warn" menu [19:29:00] Alright, that's what I figured. It'd be nice to have this as a feature in the future though :) [19:29:09] thanks for your awesome software y'all! [19:29:09] related -- I'd love to be able to configure *all* shortcuts; sadly some are hardcoded. Worth a feature request? [19:29:52] ToBeCloud: yes, but "all" is just too broad, make a list on phabricator and I can implement them one by one [19:30:23] ah okay, thank you [19:40:29] Change on 12en.wikipedia.org a page Wikipedia:Huggle/Sandbox was modified, changed by Perryprog link https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=876981467 edit summary: [19:40:42] yes [19:41:44] Change on 12en.wikipedia.org a page Wikipedia:Huggle/Sandbox was modified, changed by Perryprog link https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=876981571 edit summary: Reverted edits by [[Special:Contributions/Perryprog|Perryprog]] ([[User talk:Perryprog|talk]]): using improper humor in articles ([[WP:NPOV]], [[WP:V]]) ([[WP:HG|HG]]) (3.4.6) [19:51:47] 10Huggle: Make keyboard shortcuts configurable - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T213008 (10ToBeFree) [20:06:06] Oh, another thing I noticed is there's no "Advanced..." section that's mentioned in the manual: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Huggle/Main_toolbar [20:06:14] So I'm not sure how you're supposed to do a level 4im [20:08:31] 10Huggle, 10good first bug: Make keyboard shortcuts configurable - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T213008 (10Petrb) p:05Triage→03Normal [20:09:14] 10Huggle, 10good first bug: Make keyboard shortcuts configurable - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T213008 (10Petrb) [20:09:24] GitHub [7huggle/huggle3-qt-lx] benapetr pushed 1 commits into branch master: https://github.com/huggle/huggle3-qt-lx/compare/db5e112d99de...2b69ff0646ae [20:09:24] GitHub [7huggle/huggle3-qt-lx] commit by benapetr (Petr Bena) https://github.com/huggle/huggle3-qt-lx/commit/2b69ff0646aebdc3892f2721e2db583c94c257cc minor cleanup [20:11:59] One more thing: when you select multiple revisions and they end up having no difference Huggle doesn't seem to handle it correctly. I can send a screenshot if it helps. Restarting, I'll see if it happens again. [20:48:33] I just realized it might be because I was using legacy login but I doubt it. Switching to bot. [20:52:29] That didn't fix it, huggle still isn't warning users. This time it was Revert & Warn > Unexplained deletion [20:53:26] This time it worked though: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:82.23.241.45 [20:53:29] Odd.
