[13:44:37] perryprog: it sometimes has problems when the primary feed provider is down [13:45:03] Oh, makes sense. [13:45:15] as I don't have too much time to check it frequently and wmflabs are extremely unstable it sometimes happen that its VM is rebooted and nobody fixes it for days, so Huggle always falls back to IRC provider instead [13:45:15] Is it falling back from IRC onto the API when that happens? [13:45:25] AH [13:45:46] Huggle support 3 providers and falls back in this order: XmlRcs >>>> IRC >>>> API [13:45:55] you can see that in system log [13:46:30] I see that now, neat. DIdn't know about XmlRcs [13:49:09] yes it was down, VM was rebooted I guess [13:49:16] I need to create these systemd scripts... [13:49:29] now HUggle's feed should start much faster [13:49:43] you can also switch to it in system -> feed provider -> xmlrcs [13:49:51] on running huggle [13:52:34] Honestly, despite systemd's faults, its service files are pretty easy to get a hang of [13:53:01] Like my ZNC systemd service is just 10 lines, and it gives a fair bit.
