[09:47:26] Hi, i am looking for help with post-upgrade mediawiki. Upgrade was from 1.1x to 1.27, working fine but one problem - every new created page dont create link to category page == missing row in database, table categorylinks. Any solution please? [10:41:03] hello [10:42:14] i have a question: do you know where can i find a really basic infobox module? don't give me that wikipedia link because it's too complex and have no idea which stuff i have to clean up... [10:48:29] define "basic".... :) [10:53:16] simple enough that will be used for various template [10:53:53] like this: http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/central/images/1/1a/Infobox-mlp.png/revision/latest?cb=20121024115435 [11:01:15] beside, in that module i found, there is too many css and html code... which i don't need them because i will use that common.css in my own wiki [11:01:28] i mean in my localhost [11:16:31] if you see what i mean [11:18:34] still here? [11:39:05] andre__: are you there? [11:57:49] andre__: yes I am here. [11:58:00] but if I have nothing to add, I add nothing. :) [12:03:15] err.... allaze-eroler ^ [12:04:45] yes? [12:04:52] i see [12:05:00] (i was away lunching) [12:11:10] i wish the lua documentation was that simple to understand, not mixing up with CSS and HTML pffff [15:22:32] This is probably the wrong place to post this comment but I think it's a pity that the page access counter and Popular pages section was removed in a recent version, and having tested Extension:HitCounters, I could not make use of old counter stats let alone get it to work on MW 1.27.1. Anyway, the counter values of this particular extension are only updated once daily. [15:22:59] How easy/complicated would it be to reimplement the original counter system into MW? [15:25:24] Some argued that the original counter provided useless metric with no concept of date etc.: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Requests_for_comment/Removing_hit_counters_from_MediaWiki_core [15:26:27] But that's just not true. Knowing how old a page it, it would be easy to say "This page has been accessed X times since X date" for example. [15:27:04] how about google analytics or something similar? [15:27:39] Hopefully someone will build a simple counter extension soon, which is as good as the original :-) [20:54:10] Hello everyone, have a problem with Extension:Translation, I marked a page for translation correctly, but apparently the system assumes that the first page to be marked is in English, while it's not. How do I set that straight?
