[00:06:16] i think i found a perfect solution! [00:08:16] nevermind [00:14:04] wut [00:17:25] it was for my template [00:17:49] anyway, here a new ambox: http://www.allaze-eroler.com/wiki/Template:Spoiler_Comic [00:42:31] going to bed now [00:42:32] bye [05:15:07] I havent touched my wiki in a while but I've just opened it and there doesnt seem to be any CSS. why'd it break? [05:30:24] permissions problem. nevermind [12:14:53] Hi everyone, recently the mentions in the Echo extension changed (for good), but [[mw:Manual:Echo]] hasn't been updated, it would be very good if someone well informed does it [12:15:15] Hm, no link bot here? [12:15:35] Mine is available if you want [12:15:40] Don't need one usually [12:15:50] jem: I'd file a task in Phabricator asking for it to be updated [12:16:10] Hmm.. that would be much work than the update itself [12:16:19] more* [12:17:04] In that case, it should be commented in the tasks for the changes (I have the two linked in Tech News) [12:17:21] Do that? [12:17:21] Or just update it yourself? [12:17:31] I'm not 100 % sure about the changes [12:18:00] Or else I would have done it :) [14:18:40] Be bold. [18:06:40] Hi, what directory do mediawiki pages get saved? [18:09:10] Nvm, looks like I'm all; good :) [18:39:40] What are some command line tools for editing MediaWiki pages? [18:47:14] No directory [18:47:29] MediaWiki provides a edit.php [18:47:31] else.. [22:42:37] You can't [22:43:11] crud [22:43:19] I need set an email for the account [22:46:26] do you have database/shell access? [22:47:22] yes [22:47:32] Although I have another admin account I can use [22:47:40] there's nothing important on the other account [22:47:47] except that the other account with the initially created account [22:47:56] will I leave some admin support for not using that account? [23:21:38] After spending a week here with trying to make an oEmbed extension for Mediawiki, it turns out that its not reasonably possible to do, due to the fact that services do not give their oEmbed endpoints the same options that users can have on the front-end. [23:22:03] So, after a lot of work of caching requests and everything, the extension still wouldn't support some sites unless everything was hard coded [23:25:19] It is however possible to do all of this if all services are hard coded with regexing in and out parts of the URL. But, maintaining that wouldn't be reliable [23:25:37] It also voids the ability for server admins to add their own services
