[00:55:39] Hello everyone [00:55:47] I would like to ask about dumpBackup.php. It doesn't seem to back up everything. [00:56:14] I have a fairly large wiki with lots of content, yet dumpBackup.php - even at full - generates a 3-4 megabytes file, and restoration from it has most articles missing, only a minority being transferred [01:02:07] It should in theory dump all articles (but not all data. Such as images or private user data) [01:16:13] It doesn't. [01:16:18] I had ot manually use the exporting page. [03:57:15] i blame Ivy for this [03:57:30] runJobs halting because of "memory exhaustion" [05:09:32] c: Run fewer jobs at a time? [05:09:34] Or get a better host? [05:09:59] the memory is actually fine tho [05:10:07] the script lies [05:10:45] What's halting? [05:10:53] What does that mean? [05:11:07] the script just stops and it goes back to prompt [05:11:07] Like the script is crashing/exiting with a specific error message? [05:11:28] Where do you a message about memory exhaustion? [05:11:56] Does showJobs.php have any useful info? [05:12:51] after the script stops, something about php fatal error allowed memory size of somenumber exhausted [05:13:19] no it just outputs the number of jobs, i literally start the script again and it finishes proper [05:14:24] So there's no issue? [05:24:29] Ivy: the issue is having to start the script again [05:25:45] You mean runJobs.php? [05:25:53] You can automatically run jobs if you want instead. [05:25:59] Or you can use cron with runJobs.php. [05:27:25] i realize, i just don't want to deal with the script stopping if i happen to manually clear them out [06:27:00] c: use --maxjobs=10 or something so it does shorter runs [06:27:08] probably something has an inprocess cache with no size check [06:27:13] I thought we had gotten rid of most of those though [06:28:10] legoktm: job queue climbs a lot quicker than that lol [06:28:21] tonight i cleared out 18000 [06:29:00] run the script in a loop then? [12:20:25] Hello everyone [12:24:58] hi metalhead33. [12:25:36] I am wondering what causes this: https://ways-of-darkness.sonck.nl/Dermaglen the [[::Dermaglen|English]] part [12:50:20] Is there a maintenance script to purge all caches? [13:14:10] Anyone? [13:18:52] ""The \"purge\" module requires a POST request."," - ugh [13:34:24] https://ways-of-darkness.sonck.nl/Pirothea_Nelvarryl ugh, I will need to do something about the infobox [13:35:54] Niiice, I only needed to enable $wgUseTidy.
