[00:20:41] Nemo_bis: Hah. [07:20:33] So I want to create my own personal and private wiki to store my own personal things... What is a good service to do that? [07:27:56] OLNSaEzcA: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Hosting_services [10:37:55] Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the use of Semantic Image Annotator: does anyone know if it is possible to display annotations to the user without having to click on the "Annotate Image" tab? Also, is there any other extension that allows image annotation? Thanks. [10:43:17] join australia [18:36:06] Hello [18:36:48] does anyone know if a wikitext2json tool exists ? [18:45:31] immy123: what would that do? [18:48:54] I have a lot of records which start ==title== {{ Subtitle | field = value | field2 = value2 ......... etc. I want to use them in javascript. [18:52:23] Seems somewhat specific. Maybe you can write a parser to parse those? [18:53:27] I wanted to ask before I reinvented the wheel :) [19:05:04] immy123: sure! I don't know if such thing exists, but since no one seems to be around here, I tried to help you :P [22:55:21] hi, after a fresh installation, how can i add a new user to the administrators group (sysops)? [22:57:42] niso: log in with the admin account you created during install, and go to Special:UserRights to promote the other user [22:58:45] there is any way with access to the server and without this user? [22:59:14] yes, the createAndPromote.php maintenance script [22:59:22] it's a bit of a misnomer; it can also be used to promote existing accounts [22:59:38] tyvm:) [23:15:48] Is there any way to restore an abandoned change? I just tried to adapt one, however the remote is rejecting the codeā€¦ [23:36:20] I'm running into some dependency hell when I try to install restbase on a locally hosted instance of Mediawiki 1.31. When I run node server.js in the restbase directory, I get this: https://dpaste.de/CZTr. First I got it with service-runner, then with cassandra-uuid, then with content-type, and it just keeps cascading down. Previously, I had mkdir /etc/httpd/conf.d to add a restbase.conf (port 7231 is blocked on my home [23:36:59] I git cloned into ~ (not even /home/, just ~); maybe the restbase directory has to be inside of /var/.../mediawiki? [23:37:59] Some information in the paste was redacted to protect my personal information. [23:45:50] MGC: you need to click "restore" in the interface before you can upload a new change. If you're not the owner, someone with +2 access will need to do so [23:46:54] legoktm: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/mediawiki/extensions/Arrays/+/405057/ [23:46:58] Can you do it? [23:47:24] MGC: done [23:57:11] Thank you!
