[08:02:54] @imenZr posted in Scribunto/Lua Problem - https://discourse-mediawiki.wmflabs.org/t/scribunto-lua-problem/1133/1 [10:41:25] hi [10:41:34] damn with 1.31 isnt loading the fonts properly [10:41:34] :| [11:51:45] hi [11:53:15] can a user query an article for the xml of its preprocessor dom? [14:03:12] hi [14:03:21] installing 1.32.0 with sqllite as the db backend [14:03:34] installtion froze @the last step [14:03:54] Creating main page with default content... [14:04:16] no other errors during the installation wizard [14:04:25] any idea where I should look for pointers [14:53:50] hey [14:54:04] is it possible to update within 1.31 [14:54:07] ? [16:27:24] idnc_sk: do you have any logs? [16:27:38] biberao: what does that question mean? [17:01:35] harmaahylje: i mean within the "1.31" release must have been updates? [17:27:27] biberao: if it has, then yes [17:46:33] harmaahylje: I'm about to logoff from work, not yet, I do get a log about the database being already populated when I hit refresh [17:46:59] related to l10 cache [17:51:15] was it populated before? [17:54:02] no, I assumed this was done by the instlaler [17:54:04] its sqlite [17:54:12] so 3 or 4 sqlite files [17:54:38] tried to remove them couple of times && restart the installation process [17:54:59] that error is most probably not related [17:55:19] since db init part in the final setup screen looks OK, it freezes on the last line [17:55:38] "Creating main page with default content..." [17:56:24] of course if I hit refresh, those 7 or so steps will repeat from step 1, step 2 is db init so naturally it will fail [17:57:23] ..well, a ton of ungrounded hypothetical thiking backing the above on my part [17:57:53] where does mediawiki store its main logs? [17:58:25] note that I don't have access to any server logs(due to the unfortunate way the whole env is set) [18:07:45] maybe just store the input from the process into a file [18:07:59] if there is nothing else. I don't know how the install process is logged [18:08:31] maybe you could use another database, is it critical to have sqlite? [18:18:28] its the only option we currently have [18:31:44] idnc_sk: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:SQLite [18:32:04] idnc_sk: have you tried the previous mediawiki version? [18:34:20] harmaahylje: yup, went over it, team managing that server is us-based, could not check all I wanted and I already had enough of corporate work for the day [18:34:32] but thank you for the pointer [18:46:55] another sqlite version might be worth a try then idnc_sk [18:48:45] Anyone here from Skyrim Creation kit? [18:49:06] what is that? [18:50:27] Crap, okay. uuhhh Skyrim the game.. through Steam there is a creation kit to help mod. I was going through their creationkit wiki thingy. I am having troubles. [18:50:54] so i went through the site and thought i found a chatgroup. apparently not, this is just a wiki chat, isnt it? [18:51:43] this is a chatroom for mediawiki, a wiki software [18:52:07] R.I.P [18:52:13] from mediawiki.org: "MediaWiki is a free and open source software wiki package written in PHP, originally for use on Wikipedia." [18:52:47] Well this is awkward [18:53:43] uhh so forget this username and never remember this incident. [18:53:49] thankies [18:53:53] bye bye :D [21:00:18] harmaahylje: how can i check such thing? [21:15:58] Hi - sometime yesterday or today, the bullet characters disappeared from all the navbox templates on mediawiki.org, like this one: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Template:Databases [21:16:22] Is anyone looking into this problem? If not, where should it be reported? [21:29:26] Yaron: i blame jdlrobson - https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki%3AGadget-site.css&type=revision&diff=3076139&oldid=2535417 [21:29:44] hmm, pretty sure that the 'a.hlist' in that change should be just '.hlist' [21:31:33] Yaron: jdlrobson: i think this fixes it - https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Gadget-site.css&diff=3081378&oldid=3076139 [21:31:53] (the change might take a few minutes to go live, due to caching… stuff) [21:39:07] MatmaRex: yes, that worked! Thanks!
