I'm developing an extension to allow users to create subpages for articles to store personal notes about the article, but I want to prevent those subpages from appearing in search results (since that would add substantial clutter with no interest to other users). Does MediaWiki provide a hook (or other mechanism)

Are there any further steps I should take?
