[10:08:41] 10Scoring-platform-team, 10Growth-Team: Update fiwiki ORES thresholds in RecentChanges - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T223164 (10kostajh) Moving to upcoming work so we can tag it for a sprint soon. [16:17:02] async update: [16:17:42] Friday: Finished UpdateEndorsement and DeleteEndorsement, fixed some bugs with user lookup [16:18:35] T: More Jade stuff -- finish MoveEndorsement, work on GetLabels and hopefully start on ProposeOrEndorse [16:18:54] also updated the current work etherpad [16:24:48] Friday: I continued work on session-orientation and identified an abstraction that I think will make things quite a bit easier. Otherwise, prepared for tech management offsite. [16:25:02] T: Tech management meeting. Maybe riding bikes in Portland :) [16:38:39] nice halfak|Meetings, there are some really fun rides out in the west hills/washington park area [16:39:14] Oooh. I'd love some suggestions. [16:40:29] Is this west of Hillboro? [16:40:47] nah its west of downtown [16:41:22] Oh I see! I think I was out there last time I was in town. Definitely interested in a repeat trip :) [16:42:39] council crest / washington park loop is a nice one that you can branch off and explore from [16:44:07] Theres also Vernonia Bike trail west of hillsboro, it's a bit far out but still nice ride -- it eventually leads to the coast [16:45:18] also on the east side of town the Springwater Corridor (which was nice when I lived there), but have heard stories that it may be a bit sketchy now [17:37:12] Those long rail trails are kind of nice for getting away from traffic. That is always welcome. [17:52:05] I might find myself in Vancouver but only to visit friends. [18:02:56] I'm trying to understand how default threshholds are set [18:03:14] there are also older periods where threshholds are configured using a different syntax [18:03:21] not sure we need them, but i'm curious [18:27:27] groceryheist, before thresholds were queryable, there was an optimization that was hard-coded. [18:28:07] Essentially, we would have something in the config that said "Make a threshold for max_precision_at_recall(0.9) and put it in model info" [18:33:55] so those will be more difficult to reconstruct eh? [18:34:10] i imagine they do beam-search to find the threshhold [19:31:59] groceryheist, we can find them in the model info. The API changed a bit. If you want to go that far back, I can help. [19:32:07] But not now! Off to lunch [20:00:07] halfak okay, I'll think about that. Gotta prioritize carefully [21:02:30] nice intro of StackOverflow's (community-developed) ML bots: https://stackoverflow.blog/2019/09/17/meet-the-bots-that-help-moderate-stack-overflow/ [22:16:50] 10Scoring-platform-team, 10editquality-modeling, 10Growth-Team (Current Sprint), 10User-Tgr, 10artificial-intelligence: Update ORES filter thresholds for huwiki - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T230031 (10MMiller_WMF) @Tgr -- is there something in particular you think I should review here?
