[18:09:16] Awesome [18:19:07] Just to reiterate what we discussed on the call some changes to comms: [18:19:07] The goal of these comms changes is to make it easier for the community to interact with the team now that we are deep in procurement and initial planning. [18:19:08] 1. We are going to create a new team page on wikitech, specifically here: https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Machine_Learning. This is mostly housekeeping to move our public entity under wikitech. [18:19:08] 2. That page's talk page will be a blog/forum/log for updates on the team and the work. It is a place for the community to ask questions, the team to post detailed updates on their work, and the public join in the planning conversations. [18:19:08] 3. The default comms channel will be this IRC channel starting today. Sensative comms (human resources, internal foundation topic) will be on Slack [18:19:08] 4. All work will of the team will be in a phabricator ticket, both to help the team work async and so the community can participate in discussions and interact. [18:19:09] 5. Every week Chris will hold a public office hours (maybe livestreamed?) where folks can jump in and ask any questions they want.
