[16:56:37] srish_aka_tux: I approved your tool labs membership, but left a note on your wikitech talk page too. I don't think zulip is a great match for tool labs. [16:57:28] the big trick is going to be finding a way to do auth for it that doesn't collect passwords [16:59:11] with the timeline you have you are going to need to find some volunteers to help you setup and test things. the Cloud Services team can't really afford to do that kind of project work as part of our day jobs [19:18:07] @bd808 Thanks a lot Bryan for approving the request! We just got offered from Sumana to use the SaaS version (beta) of Zulip, so we would not need any additional setup at this point. Also learned that if in the future we decide to continue using it and self-host, there would be a way to use their data export tool. I just set up an account for us; it's here [19:18:07] now > https://wikimedia.zulipchat.com/. But it's good to learn from you about the complexities and will plan ahead in the future if we plan to host it. [21:13:07] @srish_aka_tux: can we have wikimedia oauth or something there for https://wikimedia.zulipchat.com/login/ ? [21:13:37] nevermind. Github it is. [21:14:21] well. I think I'm mistaken. The zulip team is not a public one. [21:15:40] srish_aka_tux: SaaS sounds like a great way to try this out. Sumana being involved in the project also makes me happy [21:15:46] * bd808 misses Sumana
