[17:10:37] whoa, phabricator O_o [17:17:26] ? [17:37:47] jerkin did you put a crying baby in the stacking tool? ;-) [17:37:55] oops joakino^ [17:38:18] ooo dbrant I haven't checked out Phab yet [17:42:15] ermahgerd, autocomplete @ mentions [17:43:18] kristenlans: joaquin's in mexico, but yeah, he did IIRC :D [17:43:47] jhobs: ah right The King in in Mexico. [17:50:49] dbrant: ping :) [17:51:06] FlorianSW: yes! [17:51:56] dbrant: nvm :P Sorry, for pinging :D (For info: I had this ticket today: https://ticket.wikimedia.org/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentTicketZoom;TicketID=8990168#10672197 and was wondering if you've a device without Android 6.0 to test the "Define" icon, but the user alsready reported, that reinstalling worked :P) [17:52:14] FlorianSW: excellent [18:01:52] dbrant: there is a user, who get's a "no target found" info when clicking on an external link. I assumed that this is a device problem (maybe no browser installed), now the first device works again (without doing anything) but the second still gets this error. Do you have any idea? I still assume, that the problem can't be in the Wikipedia app? [18:01:55] niedzielski: ^ [18:24:44] FlorianSW: hm, i would expect this error when no browser is installed. is this clicking the same link? [18:25:54] niedzielski: I expected that two, but he has installed 2 browsers. No, as I understand him, it doesn't matter, it just need to be an external link :/ [18:28:49] FlorianSW: the only thing we try to do is filter out the wikipedia app from handling links it wants to share. we had problems on certain gingerbread devices in the past of the nature you're describing (an empty share dialog or message that no apps are available). i haven't seen this issue on any modern devices i can think of [18:29:44] niedzielski: it's a galaxy s3 (the other one is a s5) :/ [18:30:56] the external link is http://www.nbc.com/the-blacklist on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Blacklist_episodes (last section "External links") [18:31:00] as an example [18:33:19] FlorianSW: i do not have those devices personally but the latest prod release on a note 2 with stock browser seems to work as expected. [18:33:44] FlorianSW: the bug sounds legit for those specific devices though [18:35:19] niedzielski: I'll open a task, even if I don't think that we can do anything to fix this :( [18:35:27] thanks for your help! :) [18:35:43] FlorianSW: and thank you for yours! :) [18:35:50] np :P [18:48:53] niedzielski: do you have a few minutes for a h-o? [18:49:08] bearND: sure. omw [18:49:56] niedzielski: let's meet in the batcave [20:23:30] joakino: we're using stacking tool in monthly leadership roundtable group - you got a credit/shoutout!
