[00:07:48] Hi research--I have a sql question. I am accessing our table "log" via ssh and using sequel pro. I run some queries that take a long long time...I would like to cancel most of those queries after it is clear they are going to take awhile, but the cancel button does not seem to stop the queries. Any ideas? [12:27:24] * Ironholds wanders in, yawns [14:31:34] o/ Ironholds [14:31:42] hey halfak :) [14:32:27] how goes? [14:32:39] Not bad. Just checking on some pageview aggregation jobs. [14:33:07] neat! [14:33:16] I'm snooping on the candidates in glasshouse [14:33:43] :) [14:33:47] * halfak snoops a bit. [14:34:03] they seem to be divided into three categories; "awesome! I want to talk to you", "exactly what colour scheme is your C.V. /meant/ to be displayed under?!", and "nobody told you this wasn't a Software Engineer job, huh" [14:35:57] That's a great! Obvious clusters are awesome clusters. [14:36:05] "a" great [14:36:10] I'm sticking with that. [14:36:44] sure, Mario. Sure. [14:36:51] oh, and C4, which is "...did you read the ad?" [14:36:58] but you get those with every posting everywhere. [15:36:13] * halfak loads up a 200m row dataset with all the page views from Sept.
