[06:41:52] evening fhocutt, harej :) [06:42:03] evening, Ironholds [06:42:10] hello holder [06:42:16] how goes? [06:43:31] ...trying to get vagrant to run. [06:43:33] again [06:44:33] I'm pretty sure Vagrant's primary use case is trying to get vagrant to run [06:44:49] that's my impression [06:45:08] we just need someone to build a vagrant instance of vagrant so that one can safely experiment with trying to get vagrant to run [06:45:10] but I would like to get back to working on the wikimetrics feature I was working on [06:45:14] that would be nice [06:45:17] then we can infinitely nest the things until we bore a hole into spacetime. [06:45:52] and then we try to run spacetime [06:46:26] then spacetime goes down. [06:47:04] it's okay, the solipsists think we simulate that ANYWAY [06:47:28] * Ironholds is playing a fun game he calls "I know I wrote this code a while back for that other project, where does it live?" [06:48:36] ah, linux-headers [06:48:47] there we go? maybe? [06:49:55] on the plus side I actually wrote comments that, in six months, won't make me want to invent a time travel machine and grab a brick [06:49:57] so there's that. [06:50:26] I got asked to do some code review today and spent half an hour effing and blinding about [expletive] researchers who write comments that describe what is being done rather than what the overall purpose of the function is. [06:50:37] Then I looked at comments in my codebases and got veeeery quiet. [06:56:54] In other news, someone on Facebook just asked if Ruth Bader Ginsburg was President Obama's mother. [06:57:37] (No one I'm friends with.) [07:03:18] * Ironholds blinks [07:09:52] vagrant is *still* thinking about 'vagrant up' [07:10:03] and I don't really want to get in its way :P [07:10:18] terrible magic, seriously [07:10:44] and this is why I don't test before I throw patches into production! [07:10:48] ..wait. [07:10:50] oh dear. [07:13:07] and on that note, I should pass out; I have to be up for 10am tomorrow [07:13:10] * Ironholds waves
