[14:42:07] o/ [14:48:57] Good morning guillom [14:51:26] morning guillom, hare, halfak :) [14:52:24] o/ Ironholds [14:52:36] hello halfak, Ironholds, hare [14:52:36] how goes? [14:52:54] Not bad. Still getting over jetlag, but I'm getting better at that every time I need to do it. [14:53:38] nice :D. Where were ya? [14:54:00] Copenhagen. I was at the CSCW Program Committee meeting. [14:55:28] oooh, fancy! [14:55:38] I uh. Did some paperwork and finished digging into that Google thing [14:55:40] It was a fun time. Also a lot of work! [14:55:59] Any public conclusions on the google thing? [14:56:12] "there's a pretty good chance it's total bullshit but we can't rule it out without talking to them" [14:56:35] Sounds like we were at the same place as before. [14:56:54] It's not just talking. We need to see data on how people will leave Google and come to Wikipedia. [14:57:02] yep [14:57:08] They won't give it to us or tell us the result of such an analysis, so we can't know. [14:57:11] one positive outcome is "we should be tracking this metric and many others in an automated way" [14:57:29] which is well-duh but we might (might!) get resourcing for it [15:04:53] Thank you for accepting Lindsay Blackwell's presentation
