[13:31:26] morning researchers [13:41:19] Good morning holder [13:50:52] how goes? [13:51:38] The cool thing about my job is that as part of it I run a WikiProject and so when I have ideas I create Phabricator tasks I address when doing my other jobs [13:51:42] I have two jobs that complement each other very well. [14:33:02] o/ Hey folks [14:33:15] harej, you might like to see my progress on https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/User:Halfak_%28WMF%29/mediawiki-utilities [14:33:17] :) [14:33:24] YuviPanda, you too ^ [14:34:11] What's it do? [14:34:28] It's a collection of basic python utilities that follow the Unix philosophy [14:34:43] For mediawiki stuff [14:35:52] The idea is that, rather than installing some monolithic thing and being trapped by it's peculiarities, you can pick and choose the tools you need. [14:37:01] Documentation is still a little rough. Once I have it fleshed out, I'll spend some time on designing the document so it is easier to scan. [14:37:32] I'm slowly turning each of these repos into things you can just "pip install mw Delightful [14:39:45] Also, I'm going to go ahead with creating a Wikibase of citation data [14:40:05] Cool. [14:40:14] Did you scope out mwrefs or mwcites? [14:41:13] I'm probably going to use both? [14:41:29] I'm planning to consolidate that code. [14:41:39] Would love to know what you are hoping to do and build tools for it. [14:42:09] I think that I'm going to move mwcites stuff under mwrefs.identifiers [14:42:19] At some point [14:44:39] good morning! happy friday! [14:47:46] o/ bearloga TGIF!
