[02:27:54] awjr_away, I was hoping someone would have a good response to that re-ignited 7month old thread. I giggled. :> [14:09:14] Team-Practices: Spike: Current state of burndown in Phab - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T89030#1036637 (Aklapper) >>! I think it would be valuable. [23:27:50] chrismcmahon: that's a neat idea! I thought it was fun and valuable as well. [23:29:22] kristenlans: to make a long story short, I read all the January quarterly reviews for all the WMF teams and was struck by the sense of isolation. Since RelEng has close relations with 10+ of those teams, I am looking for opportunities for cross-team stuff like what you just set up. [23:32:01] chrismcmahon: the last round of team health checks also showed desire for less isolation/better cross team collaboration and communication. [23:32:20] I believe [23:33:10] kristenlans: I volunteer to represent RelEng on any front :-) [23:34:19] chrismcmahon: excellent :-) I'm gonna head out (to New Jersey, checkgin out the Airstream dealer there tomorrow!) but I'll make a note to follow up on this idea [23:34:51] wow, so the airstream idea is getting real now huh :-) [23:35:05] yep :D [23:35:17] kristenlans: I'm going to try to talk awjr into letting me buy him lunch to talk about this also. [23:35:33] chrismcmahon: good idea
