[15:50:21] No agenda [15:55:23] hmmm... [15:55:39] mbinder: on email, Abbey suggested that it's a go [16:01:43] mbinder: still try gin to join hangout [17:28:49] jaufrecht: at 16:34 you asked "was that in response to something",. Was that about mercury retrograde comment? [17:29:39] yes [17:36:55] you missed a great discussion in which you were compared to bearded spock [17:37:09] oh, but that wasn't related to mercury [17:37:32] that was arthur apologizing for forgetting to send an email, and suggesting that perhaps mercury was to blame [17:52:02] * dstrine grumbles about silly superstitions [17:53:53] did you know that friday the 13th was actually invented by a group of people who would get together and make fun of superstitions? [18:47:45] meeple27: the second I hit enter on that I knew I had to do that LOL... umm I should start by saying that the combination of Friday and the number 13 were combined in modern times by "The Thirteen club" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thirteen_Club which does not really do them justice. I have some non-wiki sources I can cite shortly... [18:47:51] I'll google over lunch [19:01:38] kristenlans: I'm in the hangout when yer ready [19:14:53] zz_meeple27: I can find several new articles on the The Thirteen Club. I've heard about them in several documentaries/podcasts: http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-30912415 [19:45:07] * meeple27 only trusts wikipedia sources ;) [21:04:15] Grace and I are pairing on measuring value this afternoon [21:04:36] I'm not 100% clear on the pairing vision - will DS and KL separately pair and talk about it? [21:27:33] jaufrecht: you're pairing on the strat stuff around measuring value? [21:27:55] Max/Arthur/I are going to be tripping (pairing w/3 people) on the culture stuff [21:30:18] you guys could do quadding, or "pairing, for a very large value of 2" [21:30:24] or go with 2 pairs [21:30:27] whatever works [21:48:22] Did grace also sign up for measuring value? I would have added her to the meeting I sent, I just didn't know she was also in the group [21:48:37] can someone resend the etherpad link? [22:08:52] hey dstrine where do phab tasks go when they get resolved? What happens if I delete the column in which they were resolved? [22:09:32] first off... you can't delete columns :) [22:10:17] I just stepped into a meeting. I can respond after 4. [22:27:40] Grace and I came up with a re-statement of the measuring value problem and then moved it out of the etherpad so as not to taint the other pair [22:30:46] the culture trips are working from a google doc in the TPG folder [23:00:56] mbinder: RE closing tasks, simply marking them as resolved should not take them off a project permanently. However team-practices-this-week seems to hide resolved tasks automatically. You can still show them if you select the "filter: all tasks" setting in the upper right. I don't know what the setting is for this. projects usually default to show all. [23:01:24] does anyone know how to enable/disable this [23:08:11] kristenlans, would you like to have your own Phlogiston meeting with Grace, rather than squeeze into the first one? [23:08:26] it's an info-broadcast meeting, not an all-TPG-sync meeting [23:08:31] so it can split up pretty easily [23:08:41] jaufrecht: woah! that would be awesome. [23:16:35] dstrine: thanks. I was asking because we created a temp column to collect resolvable tasks, and the batch resolved them. Major grooming. I just ended up hiding it afterwards. [23:18:11] ok cool. not sure if you know: if you have a mix of tasks in a column and you filter the whole board, your batch edit will only apply to the tasks showing
