[18:06:05] meeple27: some folks on my teams have been having trouble seeing points on phab board views. Word has it that authenticating in Phragile might solve the issue. Know anything about this? [18:20:18] mbinder: This is the first I have heard of anything relating to phragile [18:20:36] dstrine-away is the expert on phab itself, and I think he noticed a change in the last week or two, [18:20:50] where links that used to take you to the pointed board now take you to the unpointed [18:21:11] For each project, there is still a URL which will include the points, so you can replace existing bookmarks with that [18:22:46] compare https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/discovery-analysis-sprint/ with https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/sprint/board/1241/ [18:36:27] meeple27: mbinder ugh yeah noticed this at our sprint kickoff this AM. Not awesome. dstrine do you know if an issue has been raised? [18:37:06] kristenlans: meeple27 dstrine it does seem like something connected to Phragile simply because the icons are missing from the sidebar in projects [18:37:25] I'm guessing a Phab update was pushed and it broke something about Sprint-Extension [18:38:00] mbinder: It makes sense that it would be related to the Sprint-Extension, but phragile is completely external, so I would be surprised if it were a factor [18:42:38] meeple27: how do you find or generate that url that includes the points? [18:44:03] kristenlans: mbinder meeple27 Fr-tech wrote up this bug: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T120247 [18:44:33] kristenlans: I believe clicking on a tag takes you to the "bad" page, but entering the project name at the top takes you to the "good" one [18:44:54] or if you know your project number, you can just replace the 1241 in the URL above [18:45:02] (nerdalert) [18:46:08] As a workaround, you can create a dashboard with a text panel in it. Put the correct URL in the tex panel as a link. Then get your teams to use that panel/dashboard [18:46:41] or have people use a toolbar bookmark in their browser [18:47:50] please feel free to add comments to T120247 [18:54:37] thans dstrine [18:54:39] thanks [19:00:09] browser autocomplete is my/your friend as well, if you can train it appropriately [19:55:09] isn't that just https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T120247 ? [19:55:16] Ah. already mentioned here. [20:09:59] mbinder: let me know if you want to jump on a hangout to talk through any of the chartwritign stuff. I thin I'll have a little time before I board my plane. And I'm kinda keen to try out my wifi hotspot :-) [20:11:20] kristenlans: I'm heading into the office now, and then I'm booked until ~2. Free any time after that, and I'll be doing the charts between then and 5 :) [20:12:51] mbinder: OK, I'll be up in the air at that point. You should be fine, since you're an old pro now, we can wrap up any finishing touches tomorrow. I'll plan to be there by 8:30, if not a bit before [20:13:10] ok [21:46:03] 6Team-Practices, 6Community-Advocacy, 6Developer-Relations, 10Wikimedia-Developer-Summit-2016, 3DevRel-December-2015: Goal: Binding code of conduct for all Wikimedia technical spaces with consequences for breaches - https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T90908#1859995 (10kaldari) I'm worried that if we have...
