[16:52:52] Still learning the ropes with IRCCloud. Can someone say something so I know this is working? [16:53:56] Something meeple27 [16:54:15] kristenlans: Yay! Thanks. I got a pop-up notification and everything [16:54:34] meeple27: yay, success! [16:56:58] jaufrecht: maxbinder When you leave for the day, do you close your irccloud window or leave it open? If the latter, how do you track what you have already read and what is new? Is there a way to go into "sleep/offline" mode? There doesn't seem to be any documentation on how to use irccloud (and it's not as intuitive as its devs probably think it is) [17:02:57] meeple27: I close the browser, but I admit it remains open on my phone (I rarely get messages outside of working hours). "Unread" channels are marked with a red dot that disappears when that message is on your screen. Dunno about sleep, but I think there is an auto-away function [17:03:30] maxbinder: Thanks. That helps. [22:02:25] It automatically knows what you haven't seen based on browser tab focus. [23:06:02] jaufrecht: Yup, i'm seeing that. I still find the ui annoyingly subtle in some ways, but I'll get used to it. So far, I rate IRCCloud a B, which is better than Pidgin/raw IRC/znc's D+ [23:15:54] That feels about right
